About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing labor relations at Timken Mexico Rodamientos (Orion and Sandy).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and review labor procedures and policies in collaboration with the union, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting positive labor relations.
  2. Perform internal audits to verify the efficiency of our labor relations processes.
  3. Validate employee contract records to ensure they are complete and compliant with applicable labor regulations.
  4. Support the employment termination process, including document collection and coordination of administrative procedures.
  5. Investigate and resolve labor disputes, collaborating with lawyers and management to ensure compliance with the law.
  6. Participate in follow-up meetings to assess progress in resolving labor disputes and develop strategies to improve the work environment.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory procedures, including the Federal Labor Law.
  8. Educate employees on labor relations issues, Timken policies, and legal compliance.
  9. Keep and analyze employee databases to propose strategies to improve labor relations.
  10. Collaborate on activities to foster a positive work climate and comply with HR programs.
  11. Manage and respond to employee complaints and suggestions related to labor relations.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Administration, Business, Psychology, or a related field, and a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Labor Relations Analyst/HR Generalist in a manufacturing industry.
