Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Vontier. As a key member of our support center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational and Technical Assistance: Provide timely and effective support to customers on our dispensers and Passport Point of Sale systems, as well as other Gilbarco-related products and services.
- Contractor Management: Open, manage, and dispatch authorized service contractors to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.
- Task and Alarm Management: Monitor and resolve tasks and alarms on a daily basis, including spot activations, bundle activations, password resets, remote key loads, deployment questions, SR status questions, ESR status questions, follow-up alarms, and special project requests.
- Email Management: Manage and resolve emails from major oil companies and independent customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Productivity and Quality: Maintain department guidelines regarding average handle time, productivity, call quality, and call audit process.
- Continuous Learning: Continuously increase product knowledge through on-the-job training and self-study to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments.
- Education: 2-year technical degree or equivalent skill set.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating a PC and related business software, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience: Call center experience preferred, but not required.
- Soft Skills: Good customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
