About Your New Role

In our Global OPEX COE, we're looking for a skilled Senior Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to participate in our finance transformation roadmap and shape the financial processes related to OPEX spend.

Responsibilities

  1. Proactively forecast, report, and analyze OPEX costs to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
  2. Support business partners in decision-making and provide necessary reporting to senior stakeholders.
  3. Assist in the production of monthly cost forecasts and updating related systems.
  4. Support the annual budget process, including template design, planning assumption review, and business case creation and analysis.
  5. Provide insightful financial performance reporting and assist directly with business heads on daily finance needs.
  6. Interact regularly with various business partners and clearly communicate results, reports, and analysis.
  7. Perform ad hoc tasks and create new reporting related to cost management and governance meetings as needed.
  8. Maintain and improve processes supporting financial planning and analysis activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of working experience, preferably in FP&A, with a deep understanding of forecasting and budgeting OPEX processes.
  • General accounting knowledge, including accruals, prepayments, and costs recognition.
  • Knowledge of media industry dynamics and key metrics is an asset.
  • CA/CIMA/ACCA qualification or education in progress is desired.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication, as well as a self-starter mindset and proactive approach.
  • Strong IT affinity to drive the digital agenda in FP&A, including EPM, BI tools, and SAP systems.
