About the Role

As a Strategic HR Business Partner at Chemetall, you will play a critical role in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Your expertise will be essential in implementing and aligning processes with company and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR consulting expertise to managers and employees to maximize organization effectiveness
  • Drive change management processes to integrate division into company culture
  • Share accountability with senior business leadership for reaching and exceeding operational and commercial performance metrics
  • Recommend HR strategy based on company values, knowledge of business strategy, employee needs, and HR best practices
  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees in compliance with all applicable laws and policies
  • Proactively consult with and advise divisional management on organizational issues affecting performance
  • Promote effective and regular communications with all levels
  • Maintain positive relationships with workforce
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Support administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management systems
  • Implement HR initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Ensure HR work processes are performed in an efficient, effective manner
  • Identify vacancies for recruitment and participate in selection process with hiring manager
  • Conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate training and development for the business
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above with major in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Good generalist knowledge in personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation, and benefits, Mexican Labor law, performance management, and personnel information systems
  • Experience in implementing HR policies and procedures in a global environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be bilingual; fluent in English
  • Experience in multinational environment is preferred
  • Strong sense of business ethics, integrity, confidentiality, sensitivity, self-discipline, ownership, and accountability
  • Good skills on active listening, logic & critical thinking, judgement & decision making, complex problem solving, time management, and good team spirit
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead change management processes is preferred
