About the Role:

C.H. Robinson is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Executive to join our Global Forwarding division. As a driving force in expanding our Global Forwarding services, you will play a pivotal role in securing new customers and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer interactions and foster relationships to secure core and strategic customer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address customer business challenges and supply chain goals, utilizing forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development.
  • Market factors that may impact a customer's supply chain, while delivering persuasive cases for change and developing tailored solutions to support their business strategy.
  • Plan and conduct face-to-face visits with current and new prospective customers, building and delivering tailored proposals based on their needs.
  • Influence customers to leverage automation and enhance process efficiency, utilizing customer-facing technology to ensure a seamless match between technology and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong inter-company relationships, collaborating with internal partners to develop customer pricing strategies and negotiate suitable payment terms.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder or outside sales experience.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week.
  • Fluent in English.
