About the Role:
C.H. Robinson is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Executive to join our Global Forwarding division. As a driving force in expanding our Global Forwarding services, you will play a pivotal role in securing new customers and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer interactions and foster relationships to secure core and strategic customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to address customer business challenges and supply chain goals, utilizing forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development.
- Market factors that may impact a customer's supply chain, while delivering persuasive cases for change and developing tailored solutions to support their business strategy.
- Plan and conduct face-to-face visits with current and new prospective customers, building and delivering tailored proposals based on their needs.
- Influence customers to leverage automation and enhance process efficiency, utilizing customer-facing technology to ensure a seamless match between technology and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong inter-company relationships, collaborating with internal partners to develop customer pricing strategies and negotiate suitable payment terms.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder or outside sales experience.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week.
- Fluent in English.
