As a Medical Science Liaison for SMA, you will play a critical role in enabling customer engagement with Key Medical Experts, HCPs, and other relevant customers in the SMA territory. Your expertise will help them understand the clinical and scientific narrative for SMA, driving informed decision-making for patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Engage with customers as a trusted medical/scientific expert, increasing their confidence in making clinical decisions for patient benefit.
Provide tailored discussions and credible scientific information to meet unique customer needs and Biogen's clinical strategies.
Extract and share high-value medical insights to shape medical and clinical strategy.
Ensure medical insights are captured through cross-functional account planning.
Establish and maintain excellent educational collaboration with customers, investigators, and healthcare institutions to build outstanding product education and medical scientific service.
**Qualifications:**
Education: Required to be a graduated Physician.
Fluent Spanish and Advanced English.
If you have experience as MSL: Experience in specialty care is required.
If you do not have experience as MSL yet: Academic background in neurology studies is required.
**Additional Information:**
Position is based in Mexico City, but requires ability to travel at least 60% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
Reports to Head of Medical LAN (Mexico & Colombia).
