Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and processes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement quality plans to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  2. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
  3. Quality System Management: Manage and maintain our quality management system to ensure it is effective and compliant with industry standards.
  4. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to quality team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  5. Customer Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure their quality needs are met.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management, preferably in an automotive supplier environment.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of IATF and APQP procedures and requirements. Experience with lean manufacturing disciplines and internal auditor certification in IATF 16949.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Internal Auditor Certification: Certification in IATF 16949.
  2. Core Tools Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, Control Plan, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrable knowledge in problem-solving and issue presentation.
  4. Drawing Interpretation: Demonstrable knowledge in Drawing Interpretation (GD&T).
