The Director of Data Science and Innovation will lead global initiatives to drive business growth and solve unmet medical needs through data-driven decision making and data science. This role will model a culture of analytical thinking and data-driven decision making across Novartis leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a data science and AI strategy to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key business problems and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of data science and AI technologies and their applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision making across Novartis leadership.
- Partner with business leaders to set the technology roadmap and ensure that individual products work together to create business value.
- Develop and manage the US iLab technology strategy to support the creation of customer experience and customer engagement product/services roadmaps.
- Identify technologies to address customer needs and co-create and execute US iLab products to respond to business challenges.
- Drive end-to-end functional architecture and system integration of US iLab products across processes, data, and technologies.
- Exhibit strategic product management mindset necessary to establish the US iLab product domain with respective business product owner counterparts.
- Act as a trusted advisor driving decisions, priorities, and relevant US iLab product information with both business stakeholders and colleagues across DD&IT.
