Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Verification Engineer to join our global design team at Micron. As a key member of this team, you will work on designing and verifying high-density memory chips with advanced functionality, ultra-high speed, and low power technology.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
• Fully understand the design datasheet and study circuit designs in detail to ensure functionality and timing requirements.
• Develop patterns and regressions to increase function coverage for all DRAM architectures and features.
• Provide support to design engineers, debug failures, manage bug tracking, and close coverage.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to develop new verification tools and flows to solve verification difficulties.
• Create and maintain test benches and test vectors using digital and analog simulation tools.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with an emphasis on VLSI design and/or verification. A fluent understanding of CMOS circuit design is also essential. Additionally, familiarity with analog simulation methodology and tools, such as HSPICE, PRIMESIM, and basic understanding of digital simulators like Verilog and methodologies (UVM or equivalent) are required. Good programming fundamentals, preferably in Python, and excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are also necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. At Micron, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
