Metal Purchasing Sr Buyer

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage purchasing performance data analytics to support strategic purchasing objectives.
  • Oversee Ecovadis administration, ensuring global management and supplier coordination.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives, tracking and reporting CO2 emissions, and ensuring compliance with IATF, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
  • Develop market intelligence through surveys and dashboards to inform purchasing strategies.
  • Manage rejections, returns, downgrades, and material trials to ensure quality standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the metal team, including process mapping, collaboration meetings, and RFQs.
  • Support requirements from other departments, such as Finance, MP&L, and Planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, finance, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, Power Point, Tableau, Power Apps, and Ariba.
  • Skills in project administration, negotiation, assertive communication, and customer orientation.
  • Advanced English required.
