Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our existing sampling processes, estimating sample needs, and developing tools for automating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sampling Process Support

Support and enhance existing sampling processes to ensure high-quality data collection and analysis.

Sample Needs Estimation

Estimate sample needs by reviewing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.

Sample Selection

Select sample records based on specifications and ensure that quota groups are being met.

Operational Tasks

Complete recurring operational tasks to ensure smooth data collection and analysis.

Data Monitoring

Monitor data collection to ensure that studies are progressing as planned and meeting timelines.

Tool Development

Develop, test, and maintain sampling applications in Python and extract data from platforms using SQL.

Data Analysis

Utilize tools such as Python, Tableau, SAS, etc. to perform complex data analysis, develop tools for automating procedures, and create visualizations to deliver insights into survey performance.

Requirements

  1. Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science.

Experience

At least 3-4 years of relevant research and data analytics experience.

Skills

Knowledge of survey sampling methodologies and data collection techniques, well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrated success and effectiveness working in a time-critical production environment, expertise in analytics programming languages, such as Python (with Pandas) and R, basic experience in SQL or PySpark, proficiency in MS Office suite and/or Google Office Apps, familiarity with BI, Spotfire, Tableau or other data visualization software and techniques, and excellent English and Spanish oral and written communication skills.
