About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at Banco Nacional de Mexico, S.A., a leading financial institution in Mexico. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of new data analytics techniques and improve existing processes and workflows.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the objectives of data science initiatives and overall business strategy.
  • Assume informal/formal leadership roles through coaching and training of new recruits.
  • Influence decisions through advice, counsel, and/or facilitating services to others in the area of specialization.
  • Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality.
  • Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems.
  • Consult with business clients to identify system functional specifications.
  • Apply comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business goals.
  • Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems.
  • Lead system change process from requirements through implementation.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets.
  • Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
