About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and operating our cloud-based infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services using high-level programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Ruby.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud-based projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based systems and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of progressive technology experience, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.
  • Experience with cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, BICEP, or CloudFormation.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience administering Windows or Linux servers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or related field; or equivalent level of experience.
  • Experience building Golden Machine Images in the cloud.
  • Experience with OS patch management and patch automation.
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or other IaC technology.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud or GCP.
  • Experience with Windows or Linux systems automation.
  • Experience with security concepts in cloud and on the operating system.
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts and pipeline development.
