Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Junior Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team at AB Agri. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues related to Windows operating systems.
- Install and configure desktops, laptops with Windows 11, and troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Procure and provision new hardware, and monitor and work within AB Agri's ticketing system to resolve user incidents and requests.
- Work with internal IT teams, third-party stakeholders, and wider Shared Service Centre teams to ensure key administration activities associated with project tasks are achieved and maintained.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and support the IT Service Delivery Manager and Project Lead as needed.
Requirements
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a strong understanding of IT hardware and software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.
