At Garrett Advancing Motion, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate compilation and approval of Financial Statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for accurate and timely closure of books of accounts per Garrett Advancing Motion Accounting Policies and Procedures and General Accounting and Auditing practices.
  • Manage Internal and External audit requirements, including timely resolution of findings and comments.
  • Responsible for quarterly review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide management representation letter on a quarterly basis.
  • Accurate accounting & reporting of financials.
  • Create standards and simplify processes.
  • Drive policy compliance.

Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Expert knowledge General Accounting and Auditing Practices.
  • Extensive experience in Accounting.
  • Knowledge of SAP and HFM accounting package.
  • Managing a team of 4-5 people.
  • Command over MS Office, preferably Excel.
  • Experience in working with remote teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Month / quarter close.
  • Drive compliance.
  • Drive standardization.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Provide analytical support.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor team members.
  • Manage audits.
