Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Desk Clerk Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Guest Service Manager in leading the front office team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our guests.
- Interact with guests on a regular basis to obtain feedback on the quality of our services and identify areas for improvement.
- Handle guest complaints and issues effectively, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
- Process reservations and guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that distinguished visitors and high-ranking military and civilian guests are afforded the appropriate accommodations and services.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 20 years old and have graduated from high school or equivalent.
- Must have hotel guest services experience and knowledge of automated PMS systems.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supervising in hospitality front office.
- Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
- Ability to identify and resolve problem areas and recommend or execute solutions.
