Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our public areas, including restrooms, floors, and glass surfaces. You will also be responsible for dusting surfaces, emptying trash containers, and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate departments.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain public areas, including restrooms, floors, and glass surfaces
  • Dust surfaces and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate departments
  • Empty trash containers and ashtrays in public areas
  • Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary
  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver objects weighing up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
