Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate requirements and complete documentation for exporting of products to foreign countries
  • Manage the freight forwarders and perform routine customer service functions
  • Manage financial aspects of orders, including invoicing to customers
  • Investigate and resolve service inquiries about order fulfillment and delivery status from internal and external customers
  • Work with others to implement supply chain efficiency improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, or Logistics, with direct customer contact a plus
  • Thorough understanding of foreign trade regulations and foreign market conditions
  • Exceptional understanding of export business concepts, practices, procedures, and shipping requirements
  • Advanced English skills (speaking, writing, and reading)
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, with individuals at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills, intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), experience with ERP systems, and independence in addressing and solving issues with internal and external customers
  • Proven record of achieving results, ability to manage varied tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to lead small projects with little formal oversight

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
  • Knowledge of the customers and markets in which Mccormick operates
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, warehouse, and distribution
  • Practical knowledge of PI tools and ERP systems: SAP
  • Strong negotiations skills
