**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing NAO Billing Requests, assisting with direct sales accounting functions, and executing journal entries for month-end financial statement closing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process NAO Billing Requests
- Assist with direct sales accounting functions, including rebooking reports, debit and credit requests, and other miscellaneous requests as needed
- Execute journal entries for month-end financial statement closing
- Log A5554 customer disputes and send out reports
- Work with business unit controllers and other functional personnel to accomplish company, business unit, and/or departmental goals and objectives
- Participate in special projects as requested
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- At least 3 years of experience with researching, understanding, and correcting accounting transactions
- Interacting with internal customers
- Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Experience in handling and analyzing large amounts of data and drawing meaningful conclusions
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong adaptability given occasional tight reporting deadlines
- Familiarity with Excel utilizing technical formulas and with other MS Office programs including Outlook, Access, PowerPoint
- Exceptional customer service skills including follow-up and follow-through
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
