Position: Marketing Director
Role Summary
The Marketing Director plays a pivotal role in steering the marketing initiatives aligned with the overarching strategies of Werfen. This role is essential in collaborating with Business Unit Managers (BUMs) to ensure the effective execution of marketing plans, while also working closely with sales teams to achieve commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and implementation of marketing strategies as defined by the BUMs for each business unit.
- Provide regular updates to the General Director regarding the performance and market dynamics of various business units, including potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with BUMs to ensure a consistent and compelling value proposition across all product and service launches.
- Align marketing activities with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Encourage BUMs to explore and develop new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with quality system requirements, including procedures, audits, and corrective actions.
- Participate in budget preparation and monitor financial performance by business unit.
- Work with finance to establish marketing budgets for each business unit.
- Coordinate promotional activities in partnership with sales leadership and BUMs.
- Oversee training initiatives for team members and ensure uniformity in customer training protocols.
- Maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and facilitate client visits and collaboration agreements.
- Focus on enhancing company profitability by optimizing sales margins and managing operational expenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Chemistry, or Biomedical Sciences.
- MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, particularly within the healthcare or diagnostics sectors.
- Demonstrated business management acumen.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Proven leadership in high-performance team environments.
