About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Alliance Manager to join our team at Element Fleet Management. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential new suppliers and sourcing opportunities for direct products.
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential partners, suppliers, and market insights.
  • Analyze trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate potential suppliers based on strategic fit, capabilities, and risk factors.
  • Monitor and assess performance of existing partners and supplier relationships, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Monitor existing contracts and follow up with legal and finance teams to draft, review, and finalize contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain management, and/or procurement.
  • Experience working with suppliers in the automotive industry.
  • Understanding of the Automotive Industry in Mexico.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker and proactive approach to program solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
