About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join TD SYNNEX as a Strategic Business Development Manager, where you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with assigned vendors to achieve the best financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement vendor business plans to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for vendor technologies and programs, providing strategic guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate vendor strategies and benefits to TD SYNNEX organizations, ensuring alignment and mutual success.
  • Manage rebate programs, develop programs to support business unit direction, and collaborate with Marketing to drive demand.
  • Direct and manage the vendor business plan and implementation process throughout the organization, leveraging vendor strengths and resources on behalf of the vendor.
  • Communicate vendor strategies and benefits to TD SYNNEX organizations, ensuring alignment and mutual success.
  • Responsible for incremental funding proposals at the vendor level, aligning goals and objectives of vendor with TD SYNNEX to ensure mutual, positive results.
  • Develop, monitor, and recommend plans for the vendor, TD SYNNEX business relationship on a tactical and strategic level.
  • Conduct quarterly vendor business reviews, identifying and driving new vendor opportunities with particular emphasis on the development of new services that blend unique vendor resource/capability along with a TD SYNNEX service/capability to create a unique value proposition.
  • Drive cross-functional communication with TD SYNNEX's product groups in price negotiations and market knowledge.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned vendor's technology and programs.
  • Responsible for the management of activities and programs that will drive the vendor's pro-forma performance in an effort to achieve TD SYNNEX's financial goals.
  • Perform analysis and reports of various program impact for the vendor.
  • Manage forecasting pipeline requirements and rebate projections.
Requirements:
  • Two (2) to four (4) years' experience in related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
  • 2 years' experience in the development of commercial or business relationships, as a Product Manager, Vendor Manager, Account Manager or similar of Cybersecurity Vendors in Wholesale or Channel.
  • Go-to-Market strategy development and demand generation for the Distribution Channels ecosystem.
  • Commercial experience with a Cybersecurity brand (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Broadcom, F5). - PREFERABLE
  • Courses or commercial certifications in firewall solutions, SIEM, DLP, WAF, ethical hacking, etc. - PREFERABLE
  • English: Intermediate - advanced
  • Orientation to results and commercial objectives.
  • Strategic analysis capacity.
  • Commercial relationship. Strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
