Key Responsibilities:

  • Scientific Engagement: Educate and communicate clinical and scientific data to healthcare customers to advance the scientific platform.
  • Value Proposition: Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, key partners, advocacy, and access enablers.
  • MSL Compliance: Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with MSL compliance standards.
  • Insight Sharing: Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal partners.
  • Plan Implementation: Implement scientific engagement plan according to annual MSL goals and metrics.
  • OL Plan Development: Develop and implement local OL plans in line with scientific engagement plan.
  • Speaker Training: Support speaker training as requested and ensure speakers are updated on new data.
  • Research Collaboration: Liaise with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical research.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and/or participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Compliantly collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Clinical Competence: Maintain clinical competence and expertise and timely completion of assigned training.
  • Mentorship: May serve as New Hire Mentor and/or International MSL mentor/trainer.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 3 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR Associate's degree and 10 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and Spanish, both in written and verbal communication.
