Key Responsibilities:- Review local accounting for daily transactions, including revenue management and expenses, using local ERP and corporate financial systems.
- Collaborate with central tax teams in Geneva to ensure accurate and timely tax calculations.
- Manage statutory audits with Big4 auditors and oversee the tax team to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Calculate and review monthly local and federal taxes.
- Reconcile social security tax balances and detail general ledger tax account analysis.
- Coordinate with HQ and key accounts to ensure accurate tax reconciliations.
- Report and pay taxes on a timely basis to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Manage the statutory audit process with external auditors.
- Prepare and fulfill year-end tax opinions and close for CPA of the annual tax opinion.
- Calculate and file monthly/annual tax returns through the Tax Authority.
- Review fixed assets investments and fiscal depreciation following local and corporate rules.
- Participate in internal controls compliance/audit.
- Special projects and ad-hoc reports for local management as needed.
- Research, track, and resolve tax problems and discrepancies.
- Control and promote the professional growth of team members.
- Develop the efficiency of team's work relationships with internal and external partners.
- Define and communicate missions and objectives of all team members.
