About the Role

Conservation International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to serve as the Global Green-Gray Community of Practice Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for climate change resilience and adaptation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting and Workshop Planning
    • Support the planning and coordination of meetings, working groups, workshops, and events, including venue rental, travel logistics, material coordination, and vendor management.
    • Coordinate meeting materials, note-taking, and other support as needed.
  • Administrative Support
    • Support meeting scheduling and calendar alignment, periodic community emails, and newsletters.
    • Respond to community emails and provide administrative support as needed.
    • Curate and maintain organized agendas, work products, shared folder structure, and files.
  • Operational Support
    • Support all logistics of the community, including working groups and webinars on Zoom and MS Teams.
    • Support managers with internal reporting and provide operational support as needed.
  • Project Support
    • Support content development, including the Practical Guide to Implementing Green-Gray Infrastructure and the Green-Gray Infrastructure Funding and Financing Playbook.
    • Conduct research as needed and provide project support.
    • Support presentation development, donor reporting, and data and knowledge management as needed.
    • Perform related duties as assigned.
    • Curate and maintain shared team folders and documents – internal CI SharePoint.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office collaboration tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to function well in a multicultural, diverse, and fast-paced work team environment.
  • Comfortable managing multiple duties and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Service focus. Courteous, tactful, and proven ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to work under general supervision and take initiative to solve problems under the supervisor's direction.
  • Positive attitude and ability to overcome obstacles to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Experience or familiarity with nature-based solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion for nature and preferably the ocean.
  • Technical knowledge of nature-based solutions, oceans, coastal ecosystems, and policy.
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.
