About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Resource Deployment Manager to join our Global Resource Management team, focusing on Deployment Review and Assessment (DRA), Customer Enablement (CE), Peakon, and Planning Practices. As a key member of our team, you will advise a team of Resource Managers in North America, providing staffing and resource planning coverage when teammates are on holiday or PTO.

This position will support a global practice by fulfilling open project roles with Workday consultants and ecosystem partners. A successful candidate will have a passion for quality and customer service, and enjoy working in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Management
    • Promote a team-oriented, high-reaching, and innovative work environment
    • Collaborate with Resource and Consulting Managers to effectively handle the staffing process for our engagements
    • Empower the team to keep up with the rapid pace and be available to the field when questions arise
    • Make staffing data clear and readily available to the team and management
    • Ensure the Resource Management team members are adhering to the activities, processes, and procedures outlined in the established staffing and subcontracting guidelines
    • Enthusiastically recruit, develop, lead, and retain a diverse, remote team of Resource Managers to support the Services regions
    • Coordinate the Resource Manager incentive compensation plans and annual review process
    • Guide and support the Resource Managers and field personnel to achieve quarterly revenue, utilization, and margin objectives
    • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Professional Services organization through leading and participating in internal initiatives
    • Actively participate in ongoing process improvement discussions and activities
    • Collaborate across different functional groups within Workday and Partner organizations (i.e., Delivery Assurance, IT, Finance, Operations, Legal, etc.)
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 3 years' experience in management or team lead experience in Professional/Consulting Services Operations or Resource Management
  • Proven ability to analyze data, reports, and dashboards and a willingness to 'dive into' systems and formulate new and better ideas on how to better support Leadership
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment and mitigate issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work optimally across teams, overcome resistance, and navigate a sophisticated organization
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google, Smartsheet, and Miro
