APM Terminals Lázaro is seeking a highly skilled Crane Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction in the maintenance of our company's assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reliability to all operational and administrative areas of the terminal.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide direction to the technical and planning department to ensure efficiency standards are met.
- Analyze performance statistics of all terminal assets and make decisions to improve areas of opportunity.
- Create and ensure that the annual maintenance budget is met according to scheduled cargo volumes.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to improve productivity, safety, and efficiency.
- Actively participate in the development of specifications and design when new equipment is acquired, to meet current requirements and needs of the operation.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of the ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 14001-2015 standards.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook).
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance management software systems (CMMS).
- At least 10 years of experience in supervising port equipment maintenance work (container guides).
- Interpretation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and structural diagrams.
- Experience in managing equipment purchase projects.
- Experience in preparing and monitoring budgets.
