Tactical Account Management

As a key member of our Crane Worldwide Logistics team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our most valuable accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement new services in collaboration with operational teams
  • Coordinate and maintain Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) with Sales, Operations, and Finance
  • Penetrate organizational structures and develop relationships beyond main points of contact
  • Ensure Crane Worldwide offices understand and execute SOPs
  • Maintain rates and assess yields monthly
  • Monitor accounts for timely payments and assist with collections
  • Set up internal reports to monitor performance
  • Communicate issues or exceptions to Operations
  • Enter meeting notes, action items, and complaints into our CRM
  • Assign corrective actions and follow up on effectiveness
  • Manage business reviews and engage Sales and Operations
  • Travel to visit accounts and Crane Worldwide offices
  • Update status of business opportunities
  • Focus on penetrating other areas of the business
Strategic Responsibilities:
  • Understand accounts' business strategy, objectives, and risks
  • Continuously pursue and implement efficiency and cost reduction measures
  • Provide market updates and educational support
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies
