**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Hardware Engineer to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team in Mexico. As a key member of our interdisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for adapting electrical construction for automotive and industry logistics projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Technical responsibility for implementing constructional Eplan drawings, including small new projects, as-built documentation, and adaptations of existing systems.
  • Development of new Eplan drawings and bills of material using customer templates and best practice technologies.
  • Support and advise the Lead Engineer and Project Manager in technical discussions with customers in the field of expertise.
  • Collaborate with commissioning teams in troubleshooting, rewiring, and new wiring.

**Requirements**

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in automation engineering.
  • Working knowledge of electrical engineering (Eplan drawings).
  • Installation and commissioning experience of knowledge of Body shops, Conveyors, Storage and Retrieval systems (including Technologies, Processes, Procedures, Regulation) with automobile producers or suppliers.
  • Industrial safety regulations: knowledge of area-specific industrial safety and regulations with respect to project-specific implementation.
  • MS-Office Applications: Excel, Word.
  • Product knowledge of Siemens, SEW, Sick, Pilz, Wago, Festo.
  • Implementation know-how (Basic/Detail-Engineering). Eplan and/or Ruplan desired.
  • Language skills: English, Spanish. German is a plus.

**Preferred Education**

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education with focus on electrical and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
