Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team based out of our Queretaro's office. As a Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, managing customer expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Relationship Management
  2. Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service
  3. Work with the Implementation team on successful opportunities to ensure accuracy in our pricing program
  4. Participate in rate matrix reviews to ensure profitability and competitiveness for key accounts
  5. Participate in rate calculations, report preparation, and customer presentations for all large-spend bids
  6. Ensure customer commitments are met, working with internal teams and executing operational tasks as needed
  7. Identify, manage, and build new business relationships in the target market
  8. Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors
  9. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  10. Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
  11. Consult with clients to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
  12. Coordinate prospect, sales, and current customer meetings working closely with the VP of Sales/CS

Requirements

  1. Advanced English is a must
  2. Ability to coordinate teams focused on results
  3. Proven track record with a strong focus on account management, setting appointments, presenting, and meeting with customers, pricing, proposals through to 'closing the deal'
  4. 6+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics field is preferred
  5. Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required
  6. Previous experience in an analyst role and/or in pricing function is an asset
  7. Ability to understand the business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them
  8. Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset
  9. Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process
  10. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
  11. Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability
  12. Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment
