Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive working relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners to improve product quality, reduce costs, and minimize returns.
  • Support the execution of test programs by identifying testing needs, tracking sample submissions, and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Analyze damaged and undamaged return data to develop and implement corrective action steps to reduce and prevent product returns.
  • Handle product-related concerns from customers, stores, and/or distribution centers, and implement corrective actions to address.
  • Assist in the maintenance of project management software and provide periodic project updates to management.
  • Develop and coordinate strategic initiatives with vendors focused on manufacturing and quality systems, efficiencies, and processes, as well as KPIs.
  • Support key collaboration initiatives that improve productivity and effectiveness.
  • Organize, plan, track, and manage to final execution of designated projects that will positively impact Quality and Compliance initiatives and drive cost savings.
  • Partner with cross-functional areas and international teams to meet project deadlines and ensure timely and flawless implementation of Quality and Compliance programs.
  • Assist in managing the workflow process for transitions by engaging cross-functional partners to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and that the transitions are executed flawlessly.
  • Facilitate key meetings for assigned projects and keep the correct team members involved and updated.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in a Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • One to three years of experience in Quality and/or Compliance.
  • A working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and planning skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to use flexibility and creativity in problem-solving.
  • High-level Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Availability to travel once per quarter period.
