About the Role

PepsiCo is a leading food and beverage company with a rich history of innovation and commitment to excellence. As a Senior Tax Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's tax obligations are met while minimizing risks and optimizing tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and supervise the application of Mexican and US tax laws across various legal entities within the Food & Beverage business to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Perform monthly and annual calculations of current and deferred income tax, profit sharing, and other tax-related documentation.
  • Determine and upload FAS schedules into the HFM system.
  • Elaborate and review tax forecasts, current and deferred.
  • Prepare tax accounts reconciliations for US and MX GAAP purposes.
  • Review monthly and annual calculations of VAT, Excise Tax, and Local Taxes.
  • Determine fiscal accounts, including CUCA, CUFIN, and CUFINRE.
  • Supervise the correct application and fulfillment of tax obligations for assigned entities, including monthly advanced payments, tax opinions, informative returns, tax reimbursements or compensations, and inventory destruction forms.
  • Attend to tax authority requirements.
  • Prepare tax opinions.
  • Attend to internal information requirements.
  • Calculate fiscal costs of stocks.
  • Determine tax implications on dividend payments.
  • Review money laundering returns.
  • Report consolidated current and deferred taxes to the United States and submit through HFM.
  • Determine and upload FAS schedules into the HFM system.
  • Identify and implement tax digitization and automation processes.
  • Review deferred taxes according to corporate guidelines.
  • Analyze and determine the ETR by PMF according to corporate guidelines on a quarterly basis.
  • Supervise and deliver reports on electronic accounting processes.
  • Supervise and review intercompany transactions according to transfer pricing rules across all legal entities to deliver transfer pricing studies.
  • Review and fill format 76 of intercompany transactions to submit to tax authorities quarterly and annually for all entities of the Food & Beverage business.
  • Supervise inventory destructions, filling formats according to the SAT platform, including data consolidation, form filling, control, and follow-up to ensure proper deduction.Requirements
    • Accounting degree is a must.
    • Diploma or MA in taxes is desirable.
    • Experience in a similar role is required.
    • Intermediate-advanced English is a must.
    • Proficiency in office software, mainly Excel, HFM, SAT software, and SAP.
    • Experience in taxes and duties is required.
    • Team player and proactive leader.
    • Knowledge in MEXGAAP and USGAAP is a must.
    • Relevant experience in tax and accounting areas.
    • Experience in transnational companies.
