About the Role:

Ecolab's Food & Beverage team is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our industry-leading team. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in increasing food safety and product quality, enhancing sustainability, and boosting operational efficiency in food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute service strategy surveys, process checks, and reporting to ensure optimal cleaning and sanitation solutions.
  • Conduct field trials, reporting, and training to ensure effective implementation of new programs and service concepts.
  • Establish, verify, and document hygiene plans and their parameters through regular customer visits.
  • Assist customers with their needs and provide recommendations related to safety standards and protocol.
  • Install and repair equipment at the customer's plant, ensuring equipment machine maintenance goals are met.
  • Support the introduction of new programs and service concepts to customers.
  • Achieve monthly safety metrics and input safety data into the company's system.
  • Establish new ways of improving service and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a technical service role.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to XX kilograms chest high.
  • Ability to work in a variety of conditions, including confined spaces, freezing conditions, and hot conditions.
  • Ability to physically perform the essential duties of the position, including lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and aptitude in electricity, mechanical systems.
  • 2-year degree in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical fields (or similar) or university student of engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in technical roles in Food & Beverage plants.
  • Exposure to MS Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Willingness and ability to work off hours.
