Job Summary
The IS/IT Project Manager manages a development or deployment IS/IT project to ensure it delivers expected value to the Business partner, on time, on budget, on scope, on quality that may be clearly defined upfront or may require dynamic and iterative scoping, delivery and change management (agile project management). Adhering to established Project Management methodologies, the Project Manager is responsible for structuring the project, planning and budgeting, executing, monitoring and controlling it, and finally closing it, ensuring quality and integrity of the information across the enterprise. This includes managing risks, quality, and procurement; leading the project team and being the point of contact for project resources for the execution of allocated project tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements a structured project, utilizing IS/IT agile project methodologies to drive business value.

• Manages the project budget, ensuring expenditure aligns with agreed value delivery and spending plans.

• Ensures all projects align with overall IS/IT customer objectives and strategic plans, driving business outcomes.

• Establishes an agile-led, deliverable-based Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project plan, leading to a resource-loaded integrated project plan with secured resources.

• Manages stakeholder engagement, ensuring project sponsors are committed to the project's success.

• Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions for the Project in accordance with enterprise policies, practices, and on behalf of the executive sponsor.

• Ensures the quality of Project Manager deliverables by adhering to Project Management best practices, driving excellence in project delivery.

• Follows up on Key Performance Indicators for each project and consolidates Program level reporting, providing insights for business improvement.

• Monitors and controls the project, managing day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams and ensuring adherence to the project plan.

• Identifies and mitigates project risks, keeping issues visible to avoid impacting project success.

• Produces timely, detailed summaries and high-level reports, providing stakeholders with accurate project information.

• Provides project schedule, actual vs. budget, incremental value, and earned value information in project progress reports (supported by IS/IT performance management).

Required Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of experience in IT and business/industry, with a strong understanding of project management principles.

• 3-5 years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Agile project management experience is an asset, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and their application in IT project delivery.

• Substantial consulting leadership experience is a plus, with a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes.

• Experience in managing change/transitions and change impacts, operating in a matrix organization, and developing influencing skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively at different levels in the organization.

• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams, with a strong understanding of cultural differences and their impact on project delivery.
