Senior Test Lead - Games

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Lead to join our team of gaming experts. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality experience for our players.

This is an on-site position based in Mexico City and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job:

  • Observe and document proper testing procedures
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases according to client specifications
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs and usability issues, and provide detailed reports
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Develop and maintain existing testing content documentation
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and feedback
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of test plans and test cases
  • Assist in setting up and tearing down test environments
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of test data and documentation
  • Support coaching junior staff members by helping them make decisions, solve problems, and improve their testing-related tasks

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Passion for video games and knowledge of the video game market
  • Good interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and good work organization
  • Strong academic or practical knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, software testing standards, strategies, and the software development cycle
  • Demonstrated capability in writing detailed area test plan documents, executing test strategies, and performing exploratory testing
  • Experience testing in an Agile context
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Preferred higher education in technology
