About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Research Associate to join our team at ICON Plc. As a Senior Clinical Research Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of clinical trials by providing expert advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expert Advisor: Act as an expert advisor on ICH GCP, ICON SOPs/WPs, and all stages of study set-up, monitoring, and study close-out for less experienced colleagues.
  • Monitoring and Training: Provide a benchmark of monitoring competence to inexperienced/less experienced colleagues and become involved in other areas of study management and staff training as required.
  • Site Management: Identify, select, initiate, and close-out appropriate investigational sites for clinical studies and monitor those sites to ensure that studies are carried out according to the study protocol, ICON SOPs/WPs, applicable regulations, and the principles of ICH-GCP.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a health, life sciences, or other relevant field of study.
  • Experience: Previous experience supporting clinical trials, including 3-4 years of on-site monitoring experience.
  • Additional Requirements: Previous experience in oncology is a plus, and all employees must read, write, and speak fluent English and host country language.
