We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer - Generators to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Gas Services division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of our customers' electrical generators.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead field services, winders, and subcontractors to perform maintenance and repairs of electrical generators.
- Develop and manage teams of winders technicians and craft labor personnel to install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical generators.
- Provide generator and generator interface knowledge and expertise to generator engineering, customer management, product line management, and suppliers.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical specialty testing (low and high voltage) as required.
- Ensure all work is performed per approved processes and procedures while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
- Review and complete customer contract requirements.
- Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning the condition and repairs and recommendations for customer equipment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Experience (4+ years) as an Electrical field service engineer.
- Technical Knowledge on electrical generator inspection, testing, generator rewinds, repairs, and maintenance of their associated auxiliary systems.
- Good verbal communication skills with the ability to fluently speak, write, and read in English, at professional working proficiency level.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time (sometimes at little or short notice).
