Job Title: Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective support for inquiries and order status. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining proactive communication and resolving issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to customers on stock quantities, production lead-time, and delivery options.
  • Review daily customer demand and validate deviations, taking into account specific customer needs.
  • Ensure proactive internal notification of customer delivery risk and external notification to customers on supply risk at least one week prior to the customer order schedule date.
  • Present critical customer account feedback in internal meetings, updating supply coverage overview based on production plans and customer requirements.
  • Review and assist in the timely resolution of customer concerns, claims, and cares related to the delivery process.
  • Manage customers on consignment/delivery more, maintaining supply and replenishment of inventory levels according to contractual agreements.
  • Lead the execution of manual order entry processes within required timelines and accuracy.
  • Communicate with customers regarding inventory opportunities for earlier order fulfillment.
  • Identify pull-in opportunities based on specific customer logistics/flexibility agreements.
  • Communicate first/last shipments from phase-in/phase-out material to customers.
  • Timely review and investigation of root cause for customer short-payments.
  • Approve/reject chargebacks and submit respective debit/credit memos when applicable.
Requirements:
  • A university degree (Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • A team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.
