Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled AP Specialist to join our team at Smiths Group. As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Invoice Verification: Verify vendor invoices for accuracy according to Mexico tax requirements.
  • Three-Way Matching and Data Entry: Perform three-way matching and data entry into ERP and Mexican accounting systems.
  • Vendor Database Management: Update and maintain vendor database with proper approval and document review.
  • Expense Requisition and Vendor Payments: Prepare expense requisition file and process vendor payments in online banking portal and accounting systems.
  • Vendor Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and bank reconciliations.
  • General Ledger Account Maintenance: Maintain General ledger accounts associated with AP.
  • Tax Compliance Assistance: Assist Tax Accountant with statutory and compliance responsibilities specific to Mexico.
  • Special Projects Support: Contribute to special projects and assist with other functions as needed.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
