Position Overview:

As a key player in our logistics operations, the Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient material handling and storage processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies while operating equipment safely and effectively.
  • Utilize Information Systems and ERP tools to manage inventory and material movements accurately.
  • Identify and report any anomalies or issues to management promptly.
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational needs.
  • Ensure the integrity and preservation of materials throughout all handling processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements by actively participating in discussions and proposing solutions.

Core Activities:

Inbound Logistics:

  • Execute real-time goods receipt and ensure proper storage of materials.

Storage Management:

  • Maintain safe storage conditions and comply with EHS regulations.
  • Update ERP systems in real-time during material movements.

Inventory Control:

  • Follow established procedures for inventory counting and reconciliation.

Picking and Line Feeding:

  • Carry out picking and kitting tasks efficiently, ensuring materials are prepared for production.

Packing and Shipping:

  • Process shipment requests accurately and maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to address non-conformities effectively.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift driving license is essential.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and a reliable work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
