Job Title: Senior Trade Compliance Analyst

At American Axle & Manufacturing, we believe that a strong trade compliance program is essential to our success. As a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization conforms to all legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and ensure compliance with USMCA, HTS, and Sub-maquila/Rule 8th requirements.
  • Perform audits to ensure accurate HTS classification and USMCA creation.
  • Coordinate trade compliance training programs and communications as necessary.
  • Administer Sub-maquila/Rule 8th processes, including electronic actual Annex 24 management and notice submission to Mexican authorities.
  • Provide reports on sub-maquila operations and maintain procedure updates with new controls.
  • Participate in special projects to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • International business degree or foreign trade and customs degree.
  • Maintain high work standards and demonstrate adaptability.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Continuous learning and improvement mindset.
