**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Customs Billing Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Customs team, you will be responsible for performing Customs brokerage billing duties, including reconciliation, calculation, and processing invoices. You will work closely with internal customers to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review and process vendor invoices
  • Handle the status of accounts, credits, and balances, and identify and resolve inconsistencies
  • Conduct audits to ensure accuracy of charges
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of billing invoices and payments for vendors
  • Collaborate with vendors, third-party institutions, and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
  • Generate reports to management related to billing activities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies related to billing and accounts payable/receivable
  • Recommend changes in current processes when essential

**Requirements**

  • Entry-level or less than 2 years of accounting experience
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or high school diploma
  • Fluent language skills (written and verbal) in Spanish and English are a must
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Experience with customs/ERP IT systems such as SAP, MIC, Integration Point, etc. a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adherence to laws and best practices when dealing with vendors and data
  • Support organization's goals, values, and diversity
  • Business travels of 5-10%
