Transforming Information into Intelligence
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence.
Main Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with circuit design, layout, and optimization.
• Perform parasitic modeling and assist in design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
• Oversee the layout process, including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
• Verify designs using industry-standard simulators.
• Cross-group communication for standardization and success.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups for manufacturability.
• Improve design quality by soliciting guidance from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups.
• Drive innovation into future Memory generations.
Requirements:
• University project experience in STEM or engineering.
• No prior work experience required.
• Recent graduates (2 years or less since graduation).
• Familiarity with Memory architecture and memory subsystems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated individual contributor.
• Strong team player with collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
The specified role excludes sales agreement finalization, contract execution, definitive decision-making on contracts, pricing negotiations, and contract authorization. These activities are outside the scope of the position.
