Job Opportunity

Publicis Sapient is seeking a seasoned technology leader to spearhead the development of innovative solutions for our enterprise clients. As a Director of Technology, you will be responsible for leading a team of technologists to drive transformative business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging cloud and big data capabilities to drive customer acquisition and engagement as part of large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor the engineering and technical teams to ensure high-quality delivery and guide technical risks.
  • Define the solution roadmap for clients' IT stakeholders and translate business capabilities into digital reality.
  • Provide expertise as a technical resource to resolve complex business issues related to data integration and database systems design.
  • Shape opportunities and create implementation approaches throughout the lifecycle of client engagements.
  • Set and adhere to development standards and participate in code reviews to ensure all deliverables meet high standards.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and infrastructure ecosystems to create elegant solutions to problems.
  • Adopt new languages and paradigms, applying them to the problem domain where they deliver significant benefit.
  • Shape the broader application landscape, modeling multiple domains, articulating contexts and boundaries, and articulating the reasons behind them.
  • Serve as an internal thought leader, presenting and sharing knowledge with the wider engineering community.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional cloud and big-data skills with a distributed computing background and proven experience in delivering large-scale cloud platforms.
  • Thorough background in application development using service-oriented architecture and 12-factor methodology for creating cloud-native platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a technical track of 10+ software engineers.
  • Expertise in systems integration, custom development, and package implementation.
  • Demonstrated background as an engineering leader in delivering complex solution design, delivering large-scale programs, and obtaining approval from company architecture stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the supporting public cloud data platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Hands-on programming experience in Java or Python languages to help teams navigate delivery challenges and provide succinct approaches/root cause analysis to clients.
  • Ability to distill complex problems into methodologies such as Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Data pipelines, Messaging, Eventing, and Async Processing.
  • Clear understanding of version control branching strategies and adapt them based on project needs.
