Job Title: Test Engineering Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineering Supervisor to join our team at North American Production Sharing, Inc. As a key member of our Test Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the development of test strategies, systems, and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test strategies and systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Design, build, and deploy test fixtures and systems, including the development of test proposals and customer engagement.
  • Maintain documentation of customer-provided test equipment, including the development of test instructions.
  • Provide technical support to customers, advising them on the optimum design for testing to achieve efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage and oversee multiple test projects simultaneously, working closely with the Customer Success Team to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Support the test field via second-level support and training, ensuring the ongoing operation of machines for which test engineering is responsible.
  • Train internal department colleagues and specialized personnel in the test field, promoting innovation in testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or equivalent experience.
  • +3 years in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated experience with Test Engineering protocols, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Electrical and general technical understanding, testing knowledge, problem-solving, systems thinking, creativity, quick comprehension, communication skills, and technical project management.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand schematic drawings, assembly drawings, Bills of Materials, Work Instructions, and Test Procedures.
  • Ability to interpret component manufacturer's data sheets in regards to package design, part and lot numbers, correct orientation, or other technical data as required.
  • Familiarity with IPC-610 accept/reject criteria regarding printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Ability to work well as a team member in a production facility.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
