Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive scalability and efficiency improvements, reducing cost and complexity in the operating model
  • Focus on data quality – ensure processes are aligned to maintain an appropriate standard
  • Reduce operational risk by leveraging the usage of the SimCorp Dimension platform
  • Develop collaborative relationships and openly communicate on work matters with internal teams
  • Effectively interact with internal teams to keep them informed on progress and ensure they carry out any required actions

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding of the core capabilities and processes that underpin a global asset management business (Portfolio Construction and modelling, Order Management, Trade Execution, Compliance, Risk, and Performance)
  • Good understanding of multiple asset classes (including ETD and OTC derivatives, Loans, Private Assets, etc.)
  • Experience with platforms/system functionality that support the core asset management capabilities used by Investment teams
  • Demonstrable Business Analysis skills with the ability to define and document business requirements to a high standard
  • Confidence to engage in discussions with colleagues across the investment, operations, change and technology functions
  • Problem-solving ability within a complex environment
  • Good technical knowledge and ability to translate between IT and the business
  • Awareness of full project life cycle including defining user requirements, defining test scenarios and user acceptance testing
  • Reasonable understanding of investment theory/process
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in English is a must
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a team environment
  • Disciplined working style

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working in an asset manager or similar organization, with experience working directly with Investment teams
  • Experience working with external vendors / third-party suppliers is also beneficial
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension platform or similar
