**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Coordinator to join our team at Liebherr Mexico, S. De R.L. De C.V. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications of all systems, products, and equipment after repair and/or modification.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Test and inspect all systems, products, and equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications.
  • Supervise the repair and replacement of damaged or worn parts as necessary.
  • Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects and identify areas for improvement.
  • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using precision instruments such as micrometers and dial gauges.
  • Read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate maintenance and repair.
  • Overhaul and test cranes and related equipment to ensure operating efficiency and safety.
  • Inspect and analyze defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test instruments such as computers and motor analyzers.
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
  • Oversee the maintenance of quality standards through visual and other inspection methods.
  • Promote a safe working environment by ensuring all personnel follow established safety procedures.
  • Research equipment and prepare for jobs and projects by verifying parts and drawings.
  • Prepare and submit accurate work reports, hours reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and part-related questions.
  • Care for and maintain service equipment necessary for job performance.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and serve as a role model for less experienced employees.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in company technical and service literature.
  • Train and mentor less experienced personnel in departmental procedures.

**Requirements**

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience with Liebherr Cranes as a technician.
  • Ability to comprehend, speak, and write the English language.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to visualize, organize, manage, and complete projects in individual and group settings.
  • Set positive examples in punctuality and professional demeanor through respectful communication with all levels of staff and customers.
  • High understanding of organizational and structural processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete work in a competent and professional manner.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call duty.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle confidential information.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and passport at all times.
