Role Purpose:

The primary responsibility of this role is to generate purchase orders for various suppliers, both domestic and international, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and managing imports as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase order requests through Hitachi systems and create purchase orders for diverse suppliers, both local and international.
  • Coordinate timely deliveries with manufacturing facilities in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases based on compliance levels.
  • Track and report on Supply Chain Management (SCM) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Engage in quality audits of suppliers to ensure standards are met.
  • Assist in the identification and development of new supplier relationships.
  • Participate in external audits to verify adherence to Hitachi's internal SCM standards.
  • Oversee the importation of materials, equipment, and accessories.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a purchasing role.
  • Proficiency in English is required; basic knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
  • Familiarity with contract fundamentals and purchase order processes.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2 days in the office and 3 days remote).
