The Product team at Bose leads the transformation of ideas through research, design, development, marketing, and sales, unleashing the transformative power of sound and delivering the best products on the market. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising up to 60 direct personnel, leading by example and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  1.   • Supervise up to 60 direct personnel.

  1.   • Lead by example and foster a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination.

  1.   • Complete all established paperwork related to your assembly line(s) or cell(s), including administrative and transaction records.

  1.   • Comply with all the Company Policies and Procedures and ensure that all personnel under your supervision also comply with this requirement.

  1.   • Back-flush all WIP material transaction.

  1.   • Accomplish the established production schedule for quantity and timeframe.

  1.   • Ensure that the product produced in your assembly line(s) or cell(s) complies with the established requirements indicated in a drawing, specification or any official document.

  1.   • Communicate and negotiate with people other than those in your assembly line(s) or cell(s).

  1.   • Develop personnel under your supervision through cross-training and formal training.

Required Profile:

  1.   • 3 or more years of experience.

  1.   • Profile to manufacturing supervision position (ability to learn and proactivity).

  1.   • Skilled in problem-solving techniques and project management.

  1.   • Ability to coach and motivate group leaders and operators to promote continuous improvement and waste elimination.

  1.   • Core Team Leadership Skills.

  1.   • Bilingual.

  1.   • Ability and knowledge of Windows system, Tress supervisors, Workflow, Excel, Word and SAP.

  1.   • Fully capable to use Manufacturing techniques for decision making and problem solving like Pareto, 5 why's, SPC, Fishbone, SMED, 5's, 8'D's.
