About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Senior Manager to lead our Business Technology Platform (BTP) initiatives. As a key member of our SAP Community of Practices (COP) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of software and applications related to SAP BTP and cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement regional and global strategies for software renovation within the SAP CoP, focusing on SAP BTP.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders and external suppliers to identify and deploy the right software and application solutions.
  3. Provide input to cross-function controls for software and applications on both regional and global levels.
  4. Manage requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  5. Explore opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings in software and application investments.
  6. Ensure support service level objectives and key performance indicators are achieved.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience managing staff and line responsibilities.
  2. Experience managing large-scale software and application services.
  3. Service delivery, support, and excellence.
  4. Program / Project management experience managing multiple projects for budgets, resources, schedules, and quality overview knowledge of SAP BTP.
  5. Expert knowledge in cloud-native technologies and SAP BTP services.
  6. Hands-on experience with SAP BTP in application and configuration.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with global teams.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information/data and make decisions effectively.
  9. Fluency in English is a must, both conversational and effective communication.
  10. General technical background and understanding of integration and how different applications communicate with each other.
  11. Process and service orientation.
  12. CPG Business processes experience is a plus.
  13. 8-10 years of experience in large SAP ERP implementations across all SAP modules.
  14. 5+ years of direct management/supervisory experience required on 4 or more SAP Platforms such as SAP BTP, cloud-native solutions, etc.
  15. Solid experience working with business process leads on streamlining functional requirements to propose standard SAP BTP solutions.
  16. At least two full SAP implementation cycles, with at least one of them being in SAP BTP platform.
  17. Experience in collecting and optimizing abstract business requirements and translating them into development objects for SAP BTP.
  18. Experience with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  19. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to coordinate and supervise the work of multiple workstreams running in parallel.
  20. Education/Certifications: SAP latest solutions and technologies; AGILE; ITIL; PM, and other relevant certifications.

Travel Requirements

30-60% travel required.
